There are lots of craft beer festivals happening across the country, but we’ve narrowed the list down to the four that we’re most excited about. (All dates are accurate as of now – these may change due to Covid 19).
First up, from the 13th-14th of August – just a couple of days away – is the London Craft Beer Festival in Tobacco Dock. One of the most established craft beer festivals in the country, this festival will host over 100 world-class breweries, each serving the very best craft beer available!
This includes some of our personal favourites, including Canopy and Sunday Seltzer. But there’s not just beer – there are also craft ciders, gins, and low alcohol options for anyone who wants to mix things up a bit. Delicious food from Bleecker Burger, Big Apple Hot Dog and 10 Greek Street plus exclusive DJ acts also await!
This festival is all about enjoying craft beer at its finest so your ticket includes all of your beer, a free tasting glass and access to the festival app.
So if you’re in the London area, we definitely recommend going to the London Craft Beer Festival! You can buy your tickets here.
Next up is the Edinburgh Craft Beer Festival. Held on the 20th-21st of August at The Corn Exchange (one of Edinburgh’s best venues), this craft beer festival will host over 30 incredible breweries.
Favourites of ours Laine Brew Co will be attending, along with many of the winners of the Raise the Bar beer competition. Headliner music acts will be spinning the decks, including DJ sets from Doves ft. Jez Williams and Fat White Family.
Alongside the drinks you can enjoy a delicious offering from some of Edinburgh’s top street stalls and restaurants! This includes Fat Flamingo (the go-to place for nachos and hotdogs), Harajuku Kitchen, and Rost. Yum!
Snatch up those tickets before they sell out! This is definitely the craft beer festival to attend in Scotland this year.
Heading into September, we’ve got the Leeds Beer Fest from the 2nd to the 5th. This is an annual four day festival that celebrates craft beer brewed in the UK and overseas. First started in 2012, this craft beer festival is known for bringing the best of the best when it comes to UK breweries.
While not all of the breweries have been announced yet, previous years have seen hundreds in attendance, including a variety from the US and New Zealand. Numerous street food stalls will also be there (what’s a craft beer festival without food?), including the fabulous Doner Summer, which is a vegan doner pop-up. There will also be live music across three stages plus other events which are to be announced soon.
For more information and to bag your tickets, head here! They’re selling fast, so you won’t want to wait.
Finally, there’s the Beer Central Festival in Birmingham from the 17th-18th of September! This is a brand new festival dedicated to celebrating the world of craft beer. It’s created by the team behind the London Craft Beer Festival, so you know that you’re in for a good time.
You’ll find the lovely Full Circle Brew Co here, plus craft beers from at least 30 other independent breweries. Enjoy DJ sets from Joe Goddard (Hot Chip) and Terry Hall (The Specials) whilst you try craft beers from around the UK and the world! Plus, the renowned restaurants and street stalls such as Dishoom and Baked in Brick will also be there.
Hosting a stellar line-up of world-class breweries, from household names to local heroes and new kids on the block, expect to discover, learn and explore the world of craft beer.
The Saturday day session is already sold out, so you’ll need to act fast. Nab your tickets here!
